ICT label

Looking for an ICT label for your building?

Many people search for an "ICT label". The official label for the digital quality of commercial buildings is called the IT-Label. It is the same thing: one clear code that shows how good the internet, network and smart systems in a building are.

01. ICT label or IT-Label?

Two words, one label.

ICT stands for information and communication technology. IT stands for information technology. In practice people mean the same thing: the digital facilities of a building.

The official name is IT-Label. The IT-Label is managed by IT Label B.V. Certified partners carry out the audits. We are certified to carry out audits, as an initiative of IT Label B.V., the organisation behind the IT-Label.

02. What the label assesses

Six areas, from cable to climate.

An audit looks at six areas. Together they determine the score, and with it the level.

01

Connectivity

Type of connection, capacity, backup connection, speed and stability.

02

Infrastructure

Cabling, WiFi, technical rooms and network management.

03

Performance

Measured performance under real load, not just what is on paper.

04

Scalability

Can the network keep up when more people or more systems are added?

05

Integration

How well the building systems work together and with the network.

06

Smart Building

Climate, lighting, access, sensors and energy monitoring.

03. The six levels

From IT1+ to IT5.

A high level means a tenant can get started straight away. A low level means there is still a lot to do.

None of the levels is a judgement. Above all, the label shows honestly what is in place. Click a level for an explanation.

04. How to apply for an ICT label

From application to certificate.

  1. 01

    Request

You request the audit and we collect the drawings and building data in advance.

  2. 02

    On-site audit

  3. 03

    Assessment

The results are assessed using the official IT-Label method.
