For tenants
Know what you are renting before you sign, digitally and sustainably.
You sign for five or ten years. Whether the WiFi works on every floor and whether you can measure your energy use, you usually only find out after the move. Unless you have it checked in advance.

- Know which investments are yours
- Data for your own sustainability reporting
What it gives you
Clarity, for you and your building.
With the IT-Label you also compare buildings on digital quality. You see which investments are at your expense, and whether the building provides the data you need for your own sustainability goals. You can use that in your negotiations.

As a tenant you can have a pre-inspection done of a building you are considering. You will need access to the building. The official IT-Label is usually requested by the owner.
What should I ask during a viewing?
Ask about fibre and a backup connection, the type of cabling, the WiFi per floor and who arranges what. Our free checklist helps you ask the right questions.
Can I measure my own energy use in a rented building?
That depends on the meters in the building. Are there submeters per floor or per tenant? Then you can track your own consumption. That is useful for your own sustainability goals.
