IT4 Core

The connection enters the building. Beyond that, there is nothing.

What is in place

Only the primary connection. No internal IT infrastructure and no smart building systems.

For the tenant

The entire fit-out is at your expense. Allow time and budget for cabling, WiFi and equipment.

For the owner

The label makes clear where you stand. Tenants who want to do their own fit-out actually appreciate that.

Smart and sustainable

If you invest in cabling here, you can make room for sensors and smart meters at the same time. That saves work later.

One level up

What is the next step?

For IT3 you need internal cabling and a basis for WiFi.

Frequently asked questions

Questions about IT4.

Is your question not listed? Just ask us.

What is the difference between IT4 and IT5?

At IT4 there is already a connection into the building, for example fibre into the technical room. At IT5 there is nothing yet. Inside the building, neither level has any IT infrastructure.

Why would I have a building at IT4 labelled?

Because it creates clarity. A tenant sees in advance what is in place and what they need to arrange themselves. For tenants who want to set up their own IT, that is actually convenient.

How do I prepare a building at IT4 for smart systems?

When installing cabling, add connection points for sensors and meters straight away. Reserve space in cable trays and in the technical room. That avoids doing the work twice later.

Is your building at this level?

With a pre-inspection you know within a few weeks. Including the smartest steps to a higher level.
