IT3 Ready
There is a foundation. The tenant still does the fit-out.
What is in place
Basic cabling and limited WiFi.
For the tenant
You still need to invest before you can work professionally. Agree in advance who pays for what.
For the owner
Being open about what is there avoids disputes during negotiations and after handover.
Smart and sustainable
Smart energy management is difficult without a good network foundation. Sensors and meters need a reliable connection.
One level up
What is the next step?
For IT2 you usually need fibre, CAT6 cabling and WiFi that works throughout the building.
Is IT3 a bad label?
No. The IT-Label does not judge. IT3 means there is a foundation, and the tenant still fits out part of it. What matters is that this is clear to everyone in advance.
What does a tenant arrange themselves at IT3?
Usually part of the cabling, the WiFi and the network equipment. Agree in advance who pays for what. That prevents disputes after the lease has been signed.
What is the first step towards IT2?
Often that is fibre into the building, followed by CAT6 cabling and WiFi that works throughout the building. Combine this with other work, such as a refurbishment, where possible.
Is your building at this level?
With a pre-inspection you know within a few weeks. Including the smartest steps to a higher level.
